What is Batana?
Batana Oil, also known as Ojon Oil, is a powerful natural oil extracted from the nut of American Palms native to La Moskitia, Honduras. For generations, the Tiwara people, known as the "People of Beautiful Hair," have used this "Miracle Oil" to nourish and restore hair and skin.

Our Discovery Story
Our journey began in 2023 when we noticed a close relative’s hair transforming—his balding had slowed significantly. Curious, we asked about his secret, and he introduced us to Batana Oil. That discovery sparked our passion. We researched Batana’s origins, connected with local producers, and realized the global demand for this hidden treasure. What started as a simple curiosity turned into a calling: to bring Batana Oil to the world in the most ethical and sustainable way possible.
Why We Sell Batana
We founded BatanaCare with a purpose beyond profit. La Moskitia is a remote, underdeveloped region where Batana production provides a vital source of income. Rather than exploiting this resource, we are committed to:
